Student Presentations at the OATAG 2020 Virtual Conference
Purpose: TAG Students in OR are invited to share ideas and reflections on the topic of “Literacy” at the 2020 OATAG Virtual Conference October 24, 2020. This is an opportunity to create a shareable electronic file (video, photo, power point, YouTube, animation) on the theme of literacy. What does it mean to be literate? Some possibilities include:
What is the most important book I have read?
What book should other kids read and why?
What family story is most important to me?
What does literacy mean during a pandemic?
Tell a story without using words
Write and read your original poem
Create a comic panel
Create a short film
Drawing: All students who submit an entry by October 8th will be entered in a drawing for a Powell’s gift card.
Eligibility Criteria: Current TAG identified students, K-12, in Oregon.
Develop your submission. Submissions should be limited to 2 minutes
